OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject :- Strengthening of administration — Periodical Review under FR .56 (j) and Rule 48 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 : Composition of Representation Committee and nomination of the two members by Cabinet Secretary

The undersigned is directed to refer to DoP&T OM of even number dated 16.8.2016 on the above mentioned subject and to say that Ms. Rachna Shah, IAS(KL:91), Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat in lieu of Ms. Deepti Umashankar, IAS(HR:93) and Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, IAS(KL:82), Secretary, D/o Telecommunications in place of Ms. Anjuly Chib Duggal, Secretary, D/o Financial Services, on superannuation of Ms. Duggal have been nominated for Representation Committee. Thus, the revised composition of Representation Committee will be as follows :-

(a) Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, D/o Telecommunications;

(b) Ms. Rachna Shah, Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat; and

(c) One member nominated by Cadre Controlling Authority.

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018. The increase in pay and allowances and pension on account of the revision of scales of pay shall be payable in cash with effect from 1st April 2018.  The revised scales of pay are linked to the cost of living situation represented by the index average of 276.9 points as on 1st July 2017 in the All India Average Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers (General) (Base: 2001=100).  The revised pay scales are specific segments of Master scale of pay of Rs.17000-400-18600-450-20400-500-22400-550-24600-600-27000-650-29600-750-32600-850-36000-950-39800
