Due to the pandemic of Covid-19, the Government of India decided to temporarily suspended to hike of additional Dearness Allowance to all groups of Central Government employees, Pensioners and Family Pensioners with effect from 1.1.2020 to 30.6.2021.  After the long 18 months tragic period, on 14th July the Union Cabinet Committee has decided to revoke the suspension on Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees and pensioners with effect from 1.7.2021.  Already DA calculation has been completed for the period from January to June 2021 and the percentage of DA is 28%.
