7th Pay Commission 5% DA Hike for CG Employees and Pensioners from July 2019 “Six months period of AICPIN from January to June 2019 declared and the additional Dearness allowance due from July 2019 is almost finalized”. The second installment of Dearness allowance for CG employees and Pensioners is possible to increase from 12% to 17% effective from 1st July 2019. 5% of Matrix Pay for existing employees working in Central Government Services and 5% of Basic Pension for retired employees may be increased from July 2019. However, the Union Cabinet will approve the hike on Dearness allowance. The good news for all Central Government Employees and Pensioners may fall on the ear by the second week of September. The minimum basic pay (As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Table) is Rs. 18000 per month in Central Government Services. In case of 5% hike in DA, minimum Rs. 900 (18000 x 5%) per month will be increased. CCL to Single Male Service Personnel Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has given approval on eligibility of CCL benefits to single male service personnel. As per the media news, availing of Child Care Leave benefits to Defence Personnel at par with Central Government Employees. As per the Gazette Notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on 11th December, 2018 single male employees working in Central Government Services is entitled 730 days Child Care Leave in their entire service. “A female Government servant and single male Government servant may be granted child care leave by an authority competent to grant leave for a maximum period of seven hundred and thirty days during entire service for taking care of two eldest surviving children, whether for rearing or for looking after any of their needs, such as education, sickness and the like”. Five Percentage DA increase from July 2019 for CG Employees and Pensioners 5% Dearness allowance hike from July 2019 to all CG employees and Pensioners as per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission After releasing the AICPIN for the month of June 2019, the second installment of additional Dearness allowance to Central Government employees and Pensioners is confirmed to hike 5% with effect from 1st July, 2019. All Central government employees and Pensioners are provided 12% of DA and DR from January 2019. The DA and DR will be enhanced to 17% from July 2019 as per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission. The Cabinet Committee will approve the proposal to hike 5% DA to all group of Central Government employees and Pensioners including Defence and Railways in September. Minimum basic pay is Rs. 18000.
