Stop Recovery of 3rd MACP from Sr.Tech is Allowed by CAT New Delhi - ARTEE

The OA filed to stop Recovery of 3rd MACP from Sr.Tech is Allowed by CAT New Delhi

As you are aware, on 20.07.2015 O/o ADG (NZ) had issued order for Recovery and Re Fixation of 3rd MACP granted to around 270 Sr.Techs of North Zone on the basis of DG (AIR) Letter No. 14/07/2015-SIV(A) dated 18.03.2015. The order issued by North Zone may be followed by Other Zones and Sr.Techs from throughout the country was worried in this matter. This order for Recovery and Re Fixation of 3rd MACP was based on Clarification issued by DOPT by reverting the decision of Railway Board for Residency Period for 3rd MACP.

As reported earlier, ARTEE had filed the OA 3035/2015 to challenge the above mentioned order issued O/o ADG (E). In the hearing held on 14.08.2015, Hon'ble CAT Delhi had asked Government to file reply and stayed the Recovery till the disposal of this OA. Due to the stay granted in the cased filed by ARTEE, all senior technicians were saved from recovery and re fixation of 3rd MACP

In the hearing held today (08.08.2018), the OA No.3035/2015 filed by our Association is allowed by CAT Delhi. Further details are awaited.
