Option No.2 . The Pay Scale on their retirement and Number of increments they earned to be taken for calculation

I have taken voluntary retirement in 1983 after service of 20 years 4 months and 19 days. Even tho I was drawing a pension in PB3 upto implementation of sixthpay commission, I was Fixed at PB2. If I accept this grievance what would be my pension My pension was fixed at 6294, Payband 9300 34800 and grade pay 4200
I was prooted as Executive Engineer (Class 1 Junior scale) in 1978 and my boss has not recorerd this in my service book, That is the reason for downgrading
I fully agree with Shri S V Raghavan that pension should be calculated on the basis of multiplication factor given in the pay matrix for each level. Multiplication for level 7 ( GP 4600) is 2.62. As such while fixing pension it should be original pension multiply by 2.62 who retired in Grade Pay 4600( now level 7). And not by multiplying by 2.57 as mentioned.

I fully agree with Shri S V Raghavan and D P Shaw that pension should be calculated on the basis of multiplication factor given in the pay matrix for each level.
Multiplication for level 14 ( GP 10,000) is 2.72. Therefore, while fixing pension the original pension should be multiplied by 2.72 for those who retired in Grade Pay 10,000( now level 14)and not by 2.57 as mentioned.
The matter may please be placed for consideration of the government to remove this anomaly.
