I was Cent Govt Employee, retired in the Year 2008. But since last twenty years I found to get Tax refund a person has to toil for years together, and in spite of sending reminders by speed post to the concerned ITO,with all papers- I did not get refund, on the contrary in some years, I had to spent a lot to get the refund cheque.
Still I have not recd Refund ( Which granted as understood, but cheque not issued from the Kolkata Region, Bamboo villa)
If Tax not paid there is penalty, why there is no penalty on ITO, for non payment f REFUND in Time??
We need to focus this point to Our Finance Minister as well as to OUR PRESIDENT

People may raise voice plese
