KNOW YOUR PAY FIXATION ON PROMOTION & MACP…

Pay fixation is done for an employee if he/she gets a promotion. There is a slight difference of Pay Fixation in Promotion and MACP upgradation…

We are receiving a number of queries as comments regarding the Pay Fixation from the viewers and we try our level best to reply to all queries. But due to non-availability of certain individual information, we are unable to answer everything they have asked for.

As the employees are in different departments of the Central government establishments, the line of promotion (hierarchy) also differs. If any inputs from the departments regarding the line of Promotion and MACP can be obtained from your side, the confusion related to the Promotion and MACP may be clarified.

Dear All, i joined the Central Govt service as LDC on 10-09-1987, on regular basis. I got promotion as UDC in Oct 1992 on Adhoc basis.I joined the other Central govt Dept after seeking reversion as LDC in Sep. 1993. I was selected and joined the post of Junior Hindi translator on 07-04-1997 on deputation in the same Dept. for the period of 3 years and the tenure was extended for another one year. In the mean time i was permantally absorbed in the post on 02-11-2000.
Since my appointment i have never got any ACP or MACP. Kindly Clarify in which Grade pay i should be there presently. My current Pay scale (6th CPC) is 9300-34800 GP 4200.

Dear Sir,
I joined the central Government Service as LDC on 26.November 1981, and I passed the stenographer examination (departmental Test) 8- April-1997 (after 16 years)in that period I have not get any ACP/MACP ..i.e. 1981 to 1997., and I got promotion to PA on 11.05.2002. since my appointment & promotion I have never got any ACP/MACP .My current grade pay is Rs.4200/- my request is /my expectation is- will get Second MACP -Nove 2011, and Third MACP May 2012. Kindly clarify this is correct or not.((I will complete my 30 years service on November 2011, (Second MACP) and I will complete 10 years in PA Same grade on May 2012.That time will get 3rd MACP this is my thinking)Because I never got any MACP.. it is correct or not. Please examine.

I belong to Jammu. After pay revision I was drawing basic pay of Rs. 14790 in sept.2008.I was granted the benifit of First MACP w.e.f. 1.9.2008 of Grade Pay of 4600.Should I be given 3% increment on my basic pay to fix my pay after getting MACP.

sir...i joined a govt dpt on 28.09.2015. After that i am taking
Extraordinary leave is from 29.09.2015 to 02.03.2016
and EOL from 03.04.2016 to 04.05.2016 total EOL leaves are 184 days.
Till 01.07.2017 i got no annual increment.i got my first annual increment on 01.07.2017.....i want to know that whether i am eligible to drawn 1st annual increment on 01.01.2017 ??

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018.
