Sub: Treatment in private recognized Hospitals without referral from AMA

       The issue regarding taking treatment in private recognized hospitals without referral of AMA was examined in HQrs office on a reference received from CDA Chennai. In this connection it is stated that the practice of insisting upon the referral of AMA before taking treatment in private recognized hospitals is correct and as per provisions of CSMA rules.

Sir, I'm working in an central govt. institution. I've got my transfer on Dec, 17 2009. But my OIC is not relieving me. What shall I do? Please guide me?

Please confirm, whether a retired civ defense govt employee can claim the reimbursement of indoor, as he is not living in cghs area, since PCDA concerned returned the claim.
