Functioning of DRDO



The report of Dr. P Rama Rao Committee is currently under examination with the Government. The recommendations of the committee are for realigning of external interfaces of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) with other Departments for better functioning of DRDO. The recommendations also deal with restructuring of organisation and empowerment of work centres through decentralisation.

The Government will take action on the recommendation once the examination of the report of the Dr. Rama Rao Committee is complete.

This information was given by Defence Minister Shri AK Antony in a written reply to Shri Pradeep Majhi and Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab in Lok Sabha today.

HON"BLE DEFENCE MINISTER SHOULD CONSIDER TO TAKE IMMIDIATE STEPS TO ASK ARMED FORCES TO WITHDRAW ALL THERE MEMBERS FROM ALL OTHER ORGANISATIONS LIKE DRDO,MES,BRO AND OTHERS FOR FURTHER DEPLOYMENT TO MEET STRETIGIC REQUIREMENT OF THE COUNTRY.
MOD SHOULD HAVE A SEPERATE CELL TO INTERACT WITH ALL OTHER MINISTRIES FOR THERE REQUIREMENTS TO SAFEGUARD THE INTREST OF OUR COUNTRY, RATHER THAN HAVING DIRECT CONTROL ON THEM AND CREATING ALL THE DISGRUNTELMENT AND POLLUTING THE PEACEFUL ATMOSPHER OF OUR COUNTRY.

drdo needs to interact more with armed forces thru their reps so as to know their exact requirements as they develop the products. armed forces reps give extremely useful tips from user point of view.

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018.
