OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Grant of Child Care
Leave to Civilian Female Industrial Employees of Defence Establishments
The undersigned is directed to
state that the matter regarding extension of the benefit of Child Care Leave to
civilian industrial employees working in Defence Establishments at par with the
Non industrial Central Government employees covered by the CCS (Leave) Rules,
1972 has been under consideration of this Department. It has been decided in
consultation with the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) to extend
the benefit of Child Care Leave to civilian female industrial employees working
in Defence Establishments at par with the non industrial Central Government
employees covered by the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972 subject to the conditions
provided in rule 43-C of the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972, as amended from time to
time.
These orders shall take effect
from the date of issue.
