Subject: Non-Functional upgradation for Officers of Organized Group 'A' Services in PB-3 and PB-4.

A reference is invited to this Department OM of even No. dated 24.04.09 on the above subject. As indicated at point (v) of para 1, the details of batch of the officers belonging to the Indian Administrative Service who have been posted at theCentre in the various grades of PB-3 and PB-4 w.e.f. 01.01.2006 as well as the date of posting of the officer belonging to the batch is annexed. Necessary action posting may be taken for grant of higher scale for the Officers belonging to batches Organized Group A Services that are senior by two year or more and have not so far been promoted to that particular grade.

FOR NUNFUNCTIONAL UPGRADATION OF ORG GR A SERVICE WHAT WILL THE BATCH YEAR i.e. EXAM YEAR OR YEAR OF RESULT DECLARED OR DATE OF JOING. ANY IDEA PL CLARIFY.

It has to be year of Exam as the date of joining would make juniors senior and vice versa, if the members of the batch are asked to join in diiferent years ( even if the gap is few days but verlap a year end). Date of result is not right if the delay is due to UPSC and not ascribed to candidates.

While selection of non-functional upgradation from grade pay 8700 to grade pay of 10000, for the promotee offices from Group 'B' service, what is the criteria for giving weightage of Group 'B' service rendered by the officer ,who were promoted direct to the senior time scale pay scale of 10000-15200.This may attractthe IAS RULES 1987 (REGULATION OF SENIORITY) 4YEARS WEIGHTAGE OF GROUP 'B' SERVICE TO BE GRANTED FOR ABOVE UPGRDATION .;- HARIOM PRASAD

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018.
